Nearly 30 years ago, while caring for a patient in his home, I experienced a moment that would change the direction of my life. After spending hours trying to help him through a difficult situation, I became overwhelmed with emotion. As I sat outside his home in tears, I prayed and asked the Lord to give me a heart that truly hurts when others hurt and a heart that cares deeply for those in need.

That prayer became the foundation of my calling. I asked God to place me in a position where I could make a difference in the lives of others and serve as a blessing to those going through difficult circumstances.

Today, nearly three decades later, I continue to be grateful for the opportunity to do that very work. Every day brings new people, new challenges, and new opportunities to show compassion and care.
